Locations

The HMDC Public Services Group maintains several state-of-the-art computer laboratories at the Center for Government and International Studies (CGIS) complex (1737 Cambridge Street), next to the Harvard Graduate School of Design. A full array of statistical, GIS, office productivity, and multimedia applications are available on workstations. There are 3 lab locations - Concourse Computer Lab (N024), 3rd Floor Computer Lab (N301), and Computer Training Lab (N018).

Concourse Computer Lab (N024)

The Concourse level computer lab, in Room N024, has 25 Windows XP Professional and 7 Mac OSX 10.4 machines available for users. There are 2 high speed black & white laser printers and 1 color laser printer located in the lab. This room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

3rd Floor Computer Lab (N301)

The 3rd floor computer lab, in Room N301, has 10 Windows XP Professional and 2 Mac OSX 10.4 machines available for users. There are 1 high speed black & white laser printer and 1 color laser printer located in the lab. This room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Computer Training Lab (N018).

The computer training lab, in Room N018, has 12 Windows XP Professional machines for students and 1 Windows XP Professional instructor machine that is connected to the built-in projector. There is also 1 Mac OSX 10.4 machine available to be connected to the projector. There is 1 high speed black & white laser printer located in the lab. The lab is only open during scheduled events.
